How long does it keep, and does it need refrigerating?
Unopened, it's shelf stable until the date on the can. No fridge needed. The can is filled, sealed and then warmed through, which is what keeps it fresh instead of a preservative. Chill it before you drink it, and finish it once it's open.
Is it vegan and gluten-free?
Yes to both, across all four flavors.
What makes it different from a hard seltzer or a mocktail?
Juice and body. A hard seltzer is flavored water with about 5% alcohol, so it drinks light and thin. A functional mocktail leads with botanicals or extracts and usually has something in it designed to change how you feel. Luba is built from real juice to taste like the cocktail it is named after, with nothing functional added.
Can I mix Luba with alcohol?
Luba works as a great mixer. Add a shot of tequila to the Lime Margarita or Grapefruit Paloma, or vodka to the Cranberry Cosmo or Kyiv Mule. Since there's nothing functional in the can, nothing competes with the spirit.
Is the Cranberry Cosmo sweet?
No, our Cranberry Cosmo is not very sweet. Tart cranberry and lime lead, with just a little cane sugar and a touch of monk fruit to round it out. The judges at the 2026 World Alcohol-Free Awards described it as "delicate, dry, and slightly spiced" when they gave it Silver.
Is Cranberry Cosmo actually alcohol-free?
Yes. 0.0% ABV, with no alcohol used at any point in making it. It is not de-alcoholised and it is not low alcohol, so it does not carry the trace amounts those processes leave behind.
The Story
Named for Grandma Luba
Christiana went looking for a non-alcoholic drink that felt elevated and clean, with no functional add-ins. When she couldn't find one, she and Nic made it themselves. They named it after her grandmother Luba, who just turned 87 and is the liveliest person in any room. Luba is rooted in the Ukrainian word for love, and that's what goes into every pour.
